triathlon season on this weekend? Yes, all happening. I'm at 70.3 Valencia this weekend.

It would be nice to get one on the board, as they say. I actually had a bit of a reduced training

weekend just because I wasn't feeling too good.

And I think usually I like to get the sessions done despite the legs, maybe not feeling so good.

Just drop the power down or drop the pace.

But I find and I like to take a slightly different approach in those last 10 days or so

in that I would prioritize recovery.

So if I'm not feeling quite so good, I'm more likely and more inclined to either reduce the session

or move things around a little bit.

Whereas in a normal week, I would be getting things done for the best of my ability for that day.

How have you recovered off your ultra recently?

Yeah, well, it wasn't an ultra.

It was 40 kilometers.

So still technically just below that. But yeah, I've

recovered. That was a couple of weeks ago at this point and I actually got straight back into an 80

kilometer running week the week after, which I was super happy with. So yeah, training is going pretty well.
