In Episode 154 I sit down with retired FBI Agent Chris Piehota. Chris retired from the Bureau after a 25-year career and held various positions throughout the agency. His last assignment found him in charge of one of the six divisions of the FBI as the Executive Assistant Director for the Science and Technology Branch (STB), he reported directly to the Director. Chris has observed behaviors and policies from inside the FBI that he believes are not congruent with the agency’s morals and ethics that he adhered to throughout his 25 years. Chris believes that there is a cultural problem inside of the DOJ, and that this culture problem is negatively impacting public perception and trust. Chris understands that to regain the prestigious image that the FBI maintained for decades, it will require a cultural shift that includes prioritizing the needs of Americans, making us feel safe and secure, while simultaneously having less involvement with the current political climate. I enjoyed spending a few hours with Chris and love it when men and women are willing to shine a spotlight on the deficiencies plaguing so many of our government agencies. Please enjoy episode 154 of the Endless Endeavor Podcast.
