Back in the shop here in New York City.

We got a lot to get to including the Yankees

potentially having to make a decision that no one ever thought they'd have to make and

oh by the way the Yankees 24 hours removed from the most embarrassing loss

ever are now in first place by

themselves for the first time since June 26th. We'll get to that a little bit later

on but we're about to find out about the New York Mets. Now there are a lot of

med fans panicking over last night and it

sucked and it was bad and you give up seven runs in the first three innings Paul

Blackburn didn't have it. It was a bad ugly loss but I'm willing to say know what, first came back from a West Coast trip.

The A's have been playing good baseball, blah, blah, blah, it ain't the end of the world.

But last night serves as something that is going to tell us a lot about

the guts and the stones of the New York Mets. Because not only do they need to win from a standings perspective,

last night, and I want to sum this up real quick,

for those that missed it, in the fifth inning

with the Mets down 7-4 and 2 on and nobody out so they are in the game
