International students once dreamed of school in the U.S., now new restrictions could keep them away.

The rules were that you had academic freedom. The rules were that you could expand your intellect.

The rules were that you could actually argue with your professors. Not anymore.

This Labor Day, Global Students and American Universities at a crossroads.

For years, U.S. schools have provided opportunity.

I can go to college.

I can study three years law school.

I will study to become a judge.

Now, changing policies mean changing plans.

We have done everything, but I can't celebrate. And fears of brain drain.

The loss in intellectual capital to this country that has benefited for decades of the brain

trust from the rest of the world cannot be underestimated. That's today here on the world.
