Well, Father, our hearts long for our lives to be one sweet, beautiful, humble, loving,

alelujah to you.

It's what we feel melted into by a song like that. We just want to be an alelujah, a praise to the Lord in the earth.

A praise to the Lord in our families, a praise to the Lord at school and at work.

Lord, would you turn our yearning hearts in praise into lives of praise?

Would you extend the sweetness of these moments in praise out into a week of praise.

Would you make Christ beautiful in and through our lives all week long as he appears beautiful to us in these hours of worship.

Stretch this hour over the whole of our lives until all the world sees and believes.

And now, Lord, open your word to us, I pray.

Make this a very precious and special day in the life of your people for the sake of your name.

To Christ, I pray, I'm in.

The term education for exultation was not chosen two years ago because it sounded nice.

It describes a vision behind the new building that's coming and it describes the structure of

Psalm 100 and we'll go there in just a minute.

We chose it because it describes the way God means to be glorified in the world.

He means to be known with the head, that's education, and he means to be sung from the heart.

That's exultation. So education... from the

exultation. So education for exultation.

And if the singing, the exultation isn't based on the knowing or thinking, the education,

then it is hollow and empty and insignificant and God gets no glory from emotions that are not rooted in truth about him.

If music creates the emotions, God gets no glory from that. If

relationships among men create the emotion, God gets no glory from that. Only if God is in the equation, does God get
