Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio.

So it was like a reenactment of the January sales yesterday up and down the country as people crowded around outside shops as they prepared to open to the public for the first time since March. Today will take stop of exactly what happened. How much money was spent? How many people didn't bother

with social distancing in the queues? Because it didn't look at their word to me. And what happens now,

of course, as the government faces pressure to lift the quarantine on holiday makers and coming into

the country from elsewhere around the world. The two-meter rule

is getting looked at and restrictions in schools as well. The people of this country appear to be

ready to go back to work. Well, most of them do anyway. And as we've said before, if you're

well enough and fit enough and safe enough to go crowding around buying shopping, then surely

you can go back and make a living as well.

And this morning we'll be finding out just what exactly is going on in our education system

and we'll need your help. Can you honestly say that you have been properly homeschooling your

own children? Have you just been letting them do whatever they want? Have you been letting

them get on the PlayStation and never get off it until you go to bed? And have their schools

been stepping up to the plate in order to ensure that they are giving out

enough homework?
