Summary
This week we’re catching up after a massive double-header in the Enduro World Cup. Val di Fassa and La Thuile delivered everything we love about the sport: big mountains, tight racing, and a few surprises along the way.
Joining me to break it all down are two riders who know exactly what it takes to perform at the top, Morgane Charre and Greg Callaghan. We get into what those Italian rounds were really like from the inside, from pushing through injuries and dialing in recovery strategies, to the chaos and buzz of night stages, and the emergence of some exciting new talent in both the men’s and women’s fields.
We also took a moment to step back and reflect on the state of Enduro as a whole — where the sport is right now, what’s working, and why this season has felt like a positive shift, both on and off the bike.
This one’s got insight, honesty, and a bit of that good race-weekend energy, so sit back, hit play, and enjoy this conversation with Morgane Charre and Greg Callaghan.

You can follow Morgane on Instagram @morganecharre. Greg is @greg_callaghan on Instagram and you can find his YouTube channel here.

It's a very amazing part of the world. And this is very close to the Morion and Joe that we've got coming up next. So, yeah, it's going to be cool to invite everyone here, right? Yeah, for sure. It's good to everyone coming riding here. And yeah, we're close to Morillon, Le Carreau and summer. So, yes, some good, good enduro riding here. Yeah, definitely. And we're into the summer break, Greg. Is it good to finally have the opportunity to get a bit of rest? it's been a brutal season. Yeah, definitely. And we're into the summer break, Greg. Is it good to finally have the opportunity |
| 3:08.2 | to get a bit of rest? It's been a brutal season. Yeah, yeah, it's been pretty savage. I think we've |
| 3:13.5 | done six races in nine weeks, which in any normal year is tough, but this year it's been extra |
| 3:19.4 | tough, I think, because the big thing I've noticed is how in practice at every race, we're riding the full course. So every week, the volume's been pretty heavy. And every race has been a pretty big race compared to the last maybe two or three years. So yeah, I'm keen for some rest. Yeah. And this is because they've removed the shuttling, right? So there's no shuffling in practice anymore. So you're doing the whole pedal. Yeah, which has been brilliant. And it's a great equalizer for privateers. And there's loads of reasons why it's good. Like even just to ride the course and practice and then we can check liaison times and give them feedback on that. And it just makes for a nicer day out as well. And you're just, you just start your day and go riding, you know. Yeah, no faffing about waiting for people to pick you up and all that rubbish. Yeah, sounds good to me. |
