Well it's continuing warm here in London town, recording this on a day when it's about

roughly a 75 Fahrenheit, maybe 80 Fahrenheit, what's that 25-26 degrees Celsius.

Last week though, as you might have read in your local media, and I will keep the weather

report brief for those who don't like it, but we hit 39 degrees which is around about

a hundred Fahrenheit in the UK.

Absolutely unheard of here, and the conditions were unbearable because our homes tend not

to have air conditioning.

Now I know a lot of you in different parts of the world, aircon is something that you

need.

I think we're starting to need it here, and a lot of people asking what is going on,

and is this the onward march of global warming.

I'll leave you to have your own view about that, all I know is it was damned hot here

last week, and that's all I can say.

And it's still warm now.

I live in a place where the heat rises.

So residual if that's the word, the heat is actually still here.

So you know, I'm doing this in a t-shirt.

Mind you, I still got a cup of hot black coffee with me because that's just kind of guy I

am.

I'll probably have some water later.
