this topic and I'll tell you why.

I'm going to be talking to the son of a man who is perhaps pivotal, terribly important

in so many of our lives if we're of a certain generation and I think that's probably

anybody from, I don't know, 35 upwards.

The man we're going to be talking about is Jerry Anderson.

He is the man who created series like Thunderbirds, Stingray, Captain Scarlett, UFO, Space

1999 and Terror Hawks.

He was a man who was so far ahead of his time, who was the inspiration for a lot of technology

and ideas that we now take as commonplace.

But he was doing this work in the 1960s, the 1970s and the 1980s.
