Well, I think we've all been through quite a week or so here in the United Kingdom. We've

had a lot of snow here, but unusually, in fact, it's the first time in my life. Certainly

where I live, and I know I live in the south of England, which tends to be warmer, have

less than the north, where I was born and brought up. The snow fell hard and stuck here,

and I'm thinking, oh God, I hate this stuff. And it's going to foul up the transport. We're

just not ready for these things in the UK. We're going to have weeks of trouble here.

And bizarrely, within less than half a day, the snow melted and went away, and it now seems

we're in the beginnings of spring. That was last week, and it also coincided with me

finally going down with the flu. So I spent most of last week in bed, and that's why

I'm a little bit behind on the podcast. I got out to do my radio show on the Sunday night.

I got on air, got through it, and realised maybe that wasn't the best idea I've ever had,

because I was quite ill doing the radio show. But the funny thing is there is a thing that

colleagues of mine have often referred to called Dr. Radio, and it's something that sees you

through, even when you feel terrible, because you positively absolutely have to do it.

And I think that applied there, definitely. I don't think anybody would have noticed

apart from the odd cough. And then I came home from the radio show and just collapsed into

bed and was there for most of the week. And my voice is still a little bit kind of there.

But I'm fine. If you're suffering from the flu, or you've been through it recently,

you have my sympathies. I'm going to get to some shout outs, not nearly enough on this
