I mean, you know, hobbies today. I love hobbies.

You know, hobbies, there's surprisingly a lot to talk about.

You sort of say hobbies and you think, oh, yeah, that's my hobby.

And it's funny because the word hobby kind of conjures, I don't know, it feels a little like light and fluffy, but I find them so important.

So anyway, the reason this topic is on my mind is one, generally speaking, I think hobbies are really crucial for happiness.

I actually think one reason my dad struggled a lot post-retirement was that he didn't really have hobbies,

which sounds a little odd, but he was so busy trying to raise seven kids and working 14-hour days, whatever. He was really busy. So after retirement, it was really hard for him.

Second, I think there has been a lot more focus on hobbies during the

pandemic and people experimenting with things as other areas of their lives have been limited.
