What makes you excited about the future with the White Sox?

I'm going to try to be dressed because we have a lot of good players in the money. So I think maybe next year, maybe in 2026, we're going to be a really good thing to be a big league.

When do you think you'll be ready for the major?

I think I'm ready, but, you know, it's just starting to play baseball right now.

Edgar Caro, one of many White Sox prospects who are knocking on the door for the majors.

And, you know, Caro is batting 408 in June.

He leads the Southern League with 49 RBIs and at 21 he's one of the youngest

players in the league. He and the Birmingham Barron's won the first half title on Sunday.

This will be the Barron's first trip to the playoffs in AA in 11 years. I spoke with Edgar a couple of days

before they clinched a playoff berth and also Class A Canapolis won its first half title last week.

Team success in the minors doesn't always equate to team success in the majors, but at the very

least, they're getting a taste of winning.
