Hey, A-V-A-D, it's good to be here with you.

Yeah, thanks for coming in.

So, Noel, tell us a little bit about your show and yourself.

Tell me about Noel.

Yeah, so I do the jazz theater program.

I co-hosts with John Gilberf, of course.

My background is in jazz, R&B, soul, blues, funk, any of the diaspora of jazz,

and 50s, 60s, 70s, electric miles, 50s cool jazz. So I'm in the collecting records and finding new music.

Tell me, you also play in a local group in Seattle. You want to tell me about that?

Yeah, so I play in a jazz trio, if you want to call it that. It's called AfroCop and it's myself on Keys, Andy Sells, Seattle veteran and native from this area on drums,

and another musician Carlos Toulos on bass and baritone guitar.

And I've been playing in that project since I've moved out to Seattle, 15, 16 years now. So that's been a constant project

of mine to improv and keep things creative.
