I'm Connor Beaton, and joining me today is Eddie Caparucci.

He's a licensed therapist and is certified in the treatment of sexual and pornographic addiction.

He and his wife, Terry, have a private practice in Marietta, Georgia, working with men

struggling with sex and porn addiction, as well as their wives who are dealing with

betrayal. Among as many clients, Eddie has worked with professional athletes, including

NFL and Major league baseball players

and television personalities. He is the administrator for websites, men against porn.org, and

Sexually Pure Men.com. He serves as the clinical director for the National Decency Coalition

and Organization working to help limit the

access of pornography to minors while educating about the harmful impact of pornography on

individuals' relationships and society. So in this episode, obviously, this is going to be all

about porn addiction, all about sex addiction, but specifically, it is going to be all about porn addiction, all about sex addiction,

but specifically it is going to be looking at these things through the lens of the inner child.

And so one of the things that Eddie does really well, in my opinion, through his work is he

takes a look at how our inner child, our childhood,

oftentimes forms these behaviors, these addictions, whether it's through neglect, whether

it is through abuse or trauma or abandonment wounds or attachment issues.

And he has created nine different archetypes that are in his book that we discuss,

which is wonderful.

And he's able to sort of disseminate and break down why it is that we as men can sometimes get caught in this very addictive
