When the apostle Paul came to Buria

and proclaimed the gospel to them,

they actually went into the scriptures and compared what the

apostle Paul said to the word of God as they had it, which would have been just

the Old Testament at that time, to see if what he was saying was true.

Or as the Apostle Paul writes in Second Corinthians, we take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ.

It's not a politically correct endeavor that we engage in here at fighting for the faith

yet it is a job that must be done.

I don't care if Americans don't like to think.

I don't care if their favorite way of getting information is distilled little sound bites

from the television set and they don't want to have to

actually do the tough work of actually firing up the synapses in their brain

getting the engine running and engaging in critical thinking.
