Hello everybody welcome back to the forward podcast i know i know i know where did we go

it's just been a bit a bit of a little break here i should say so uh...

hey thanks for tuning in. My guest this week is, without a doubt, my favorite

artist in the world and fortunately for me has gotten to be a really good friend of mine Ed Riche.

And Ed's arguably the most important living American contemporary artist,

hugely, hugely collectible, and just a groovy old dude with some great old stories and

and he's out based in Venice now but grew up really in these parts not not that

far from Texas here are home so but before I get to Ed I gotta tell you something

and I mean this is this I'm really really pissed about I

Road my mountain bike down here to do the show and I rode it on town lake like our the the Loop here in Austin where everybody runs and walks

their dog and maybe rides a little bit.

And our city has, we now have these electric scooters, these e-scooters that people commute to work on or go to the store,

whatever they do, I don't know.

Which is great.

One less car on the road is always a good thing.

I didn't see anybody out working on them today or commuting to work,

but there were hundreds of them on the trail.

What in the fuck is going on and how is this possible like I and they're just

out kind of joyriding like ripping around it's it's it's crazy I'm I'm anti here's what I'm saying I'm anti is what I'm saying I'm anti and I know that's not a popular opinion but

but and I think it's great if somebody like I said is we're taking a car

off the road but I don't know why they're down on the hike and bike trail.

Anyways.
