Summary

Ed Ruscha is one of America's most treasured contemporary artists. Raised in Oklahoma, Ed and Lance discussed his desire to head west to California in the mid 50's, the support of his parents early on and his process for creating his paintings and photographs. An exhibit of Ed's works are on display at the Harry Ransom Center in Austin through early January.

Road my mountain bike down here to do the show and I rode it on town lake like our the the Loop here in Austin where everybody runs and walks

their dog and maybe rides a little bit.

And our city has, we now have these electric scooters, these e-scooters that people commute to work on or go to the store,

whatever they do, I don't know.

Which is great.

One less car on the road is always a good thing.

I didn't see anybody out working on them today or commuting to work,

but there were hundreds of them on the trail.

but and I think it's great if somebody like I said is we're taking a car

off the road but I don't know why they're down on the hike and bike trail.
