Cassandra luring a bunch of immigrants, refugees in fact from Texas to Florida in order to

pull off this stunt of sending them to Martha's Vineyard. The obvious thing the

Democrats should have said is these are refugees from

socialism. These are refugees from Venezuela. It's like and you call yourself an

anti-socialist you're're making victims, double victims.

But I don't think there is the mindset of the democratic party to make that kind of a differentiation.

The natural thing to talk about in my little spiel this week is the midterms in the United States,

but I just had a really lively conversation with that and many of my views, many of my points are expressed in that conversation.

So I just want to take a minute to put this midterm election in the broader context of where I think we now stand in terms of a battle between democracy

and authoritarian populism.

And the answer to that, it seems to me, is that the threat from these populist forces continues,

that candidates like the over 200 election deniers who just won high office in the United States
