So I am standing just outside the glorious Art Deco Serberton station.

This is of course, Kingston and Serbitten, his constituency, the leader of the Liberal Democrats.

And we want to catch up with him really in a week or so before the Lib Dem party conference,

which will be the most triumphant for any Lib Dem party leader for years and years and years after the fallow post-coilition period where nothing seemed to resurrect them.

They are now at over 70 seats in the House of Commons.

It is actually one of the underreported bits of the election result in lots of ways, because

of the cataclysm of the Tory party, because of Labour's huge majority, that we've almost not

noticed that the Lib Dems are back. They are back as the third force in British politics and then some. What they think,

what they do, what they might yet do in the future really matters. So we wanted to catch up

with Ed Davy about what he thinks about that election result, that extraordinary campaign which

involved bungee jumping and paddleboarding and everything in between the politics of the last
