Summary

Sean opens with upbeat economic indicators, citing a stronger Q4 GDP estimate, easing inflation, lower mortgage rates, and cheaper gas. He argues high taxes are pushing people and businesses out of blue states, highlighting a proposed California wealth tax and the NYSEs plan to expand operations in Dallas. He then turns to the Minnesota church protests against ICE, pointing to potential FACE Act violations, reported DOJ subpoenas to Governor Tim Walz, Mayor Jacob Frey, and Attorney General Keith Ellison, and new scrutiny of Rep. Ilhan Omar's finances from Chairman James Comer. Senator Lindsey Graham joins from Davos after meetings in Israel to assess unrest in Iran, a U.S. pledge of support to protesters, and how Trump-era tactics aim to apply pressure abroad without new forever wars.
