Finding Death Before Death Find You.

In this episode, Eckhart discusses a topic that is taboo for many, the subject of death.

In the Western world, he says denial and the fear of death has prevailed for centuries.

However, Eckhart explains,

That need not continue.

He says there is a much deeper dimension to who we are, one that never dies, and if we can get in touch

with that transcendent aspect of ourselves, our fear of death will ultimately

disappear.

It's important to familiarize yourself with death.

You can't really live in a wise way.

If you are not familiar with death, they go together.

From the point of view of the physical vehicle

and the form identity, one could say that every one of us is infected

with a lethal virus already,

but it's not a physical virus.

The virus is called time.

And in the end, it will consume you and destroy you.

That's for sure.

So the outcome is already assured.

The seeming solidity of our world is an illusion, especially in the Western world,

the denial of death has been prevalent for a long time,

not so in medieval times, but since we moved into modern times.
