Live for yourself. Do whatever it takes to be happy.

That's the mantra that we'll hear from King Solomon today in our journey through the Old Testament

Book of Ecclesiasties on through the Bible. I'm Steve Schwets, welcoming you to another

great study with our teacher Dr. J. Vernon McKee. Now as we followed along

with Solomon's ancient quest to satisfy his longings with earthly pleasures, some

of what we've seen or heard likely seemed familiar. So is it possible to really find

happiness, true happiness and contentment and fulfillment in this world? Well we'll see

what God's word has to say in just a minute. But first here's a quick

email from Celia, a fellow passenger on the Bible bus. I avoided God for so long

and lived solely for myself, Celia tells us.
