We're beginning in Ecclesiasties, 1 verse 5 and to get us started here's

Dr McGee to give us a bit more insight into today's study.

Our study today brings us to Ecclesiasties, the first chapter at verse five. The Bible

is one of the most exciting and dynamic books that's in the world today.

One of the proofs of the inspiration of the scripture, one of the many proofs,

is when it is read it forces opinions it forces decisions the

Lord Jesus put it even like this if you're not for me you're against me. You can't

take a neutral position when you're reading and studying the word of God. The

words of the scripture are very much like some critic in the past said of Shelly, the words that he wrote.

And he said, if you cut them, they'll bleed.

That's the way the words of the scripture are.

And because it is that kind of a book,

there are some people who avoid portions of scripture.

You will note that don't many consider Ecclesiasties

has some strange statements.
