eBay is dropping American Express. I'm Nova Safo with a marketplace minute.

The change takes effect mid-August. The online retailer says American Express charges

unacceptably high transaction fees.

Amex said the fees are comparable to what eBay pays other card issuers.

Volvo is enjoying strong global sales thanks to its electrified models.

Sales rose 13% in May, mostly in Europe. Sales in the US fell 5%.

Volvo has a relatively small share of the global auto market. A European Union court says McDonald's can no longer trademark the term

chicken Big Mac. It's a win for an Irish burger chain which brought the

use it or lose it challenge. The founder of that chain told an Irish radio station

that the ruling was a win for anyone with the surname Mac. The Amazon Labor

Union representing employees at a New York City warehouse is joining forces with the Teamsters.

On its own the smaller union has struggled to organize other warehouses.

It's hoping the Teamsters will give it a boost.
