My friend, today we are talking about the importance of eavesdropping on yourself.

Eavesdropping, look, I'll admit I love it no matter what I love listening to what the

ladies say next to me at the cafe or behind me in the line as we're waiting to pick up

prescriptions at CDS or whatever it may be I love a good old eavesdrop. I love to hear what people

are talking about and what matters to them. I especially love it when someone says something

like, well my therapist told me, oh my gosh I love to lean in but that's

what the eavesdropping we're talking about today we're talking about paying attention to

your own mind and what you are thinking and saying to yourself, about yourself and about the world.

Now, this is what meditation often helps us achieve.

I'm not a meditator, but I have done it

and I know that that powerful ability

to observe our thoughts versus believing

that we are them that we're tangled up with them.

Being able to create that space and that separation between a thought and our
