Summary

In this episode of Narcissist Apocalypse, Eaton shares her story of domestic violence, coercive control, and narcissistic abuse. As an immigrant to London, Eaton dealt with the landmines of people trying to take advantage of her everywhere. When Eaton met her husband, he love-bombed her into feeling safe with him. However, that changed quickly when the physical abuse began, and that turned into a 20-year battle for survival.  It's a story of love bombing, core beliefs, inter-generational trauma, jealousy, control, manipulation, immigration issues, financial abuse, mental health, coping mechanisms, self-acceptance, trauma bonds, divorce process, personal identity, resilience, healing journeys, isolation, put downs, changing tactics, sexual abuse, and the imperfect victim. *** CONTENT WARNING - This episode discusses physical abuse and sexual abuse. *** If you want to be a guest on our survivor story podcast, please click here or send us an email at narcissistapocalypse@gmail.com To help out our podcast, please fill out our listener survey, click here.
