On this episode of the Dr. Tina show, I'm sitting down with my friend Nicholas Gustafen.

0:15.8

Nicholas is the host of the podcast Hungry for Change that I was honored to be a guest on recently.

0:21.8

I so enjoyed our conversation that I invited him to come on my show. He's a wealth of knowledge when it comes to

0:26.4

cooking, nutrition, and how to optimize one's health through food. Plus, he brings a unique

0:31.1

perspective as a European. We had a great conversation on a wide variety of topics that I know

1:11.4

finished beef that comes from small American-owned farms that practice rotational grazing.

1:16.6

Rotational grazing is when farmers literally rotate the pastures in which their cattle graze,

1:21.2

so they aren't feeding on the same soil forever, which can lead to nutrient depletion in the

1:25.3

soil and the cattle.

1:26.7

This makes the meat in Paleo Valley

1:28.4

beef sticks even more nutrient rich. And they use old world methods of fermentation, which gives the

1:33.8

beef sticks a long shelf life without the use of harmful acids and chemical preservatives. These are

1:38.9

portable, nutrient rich, and clean little packets of protein that you, your kids, and your grandkids
