| 0:14.0 | So I'm going to talk about why you should probably add more mushrooms to your diet. |
| 0:18.0 | Okay, there's several reasons. |
| 0:20.0 | First of all, is a mushroom a vegetable? |
| 0:22.0 | No, it's not. It's a fungus. |
| 0:24.0 | Okay, it's a fungi. |
| 0:26.0 | And, um, fungus and mushrooms are very, very keto-friendly. |
| 0:31.0 | Let's break it down. |
| 0:33.0 | We've got 92% water, okay, in mushrooms. |
| 0:36.0 | 4% carbs. |
| 0:38.0 | 2% protein. |
| 0:40.0 | And less than 1% fat. |
| 0:42.0 | So in one cup of mushrooms, we only have two grams of carb. |
| 0:46.0 | And one gram of fiber. |
| 0:48.0 | So really, we only have one gram of net carb. |
| 0:51.0 | So again, mushrooms are extremely keto-friendly. |
| 0:55.0 | But it's not just the low carbs that we're interested in. |
| 0:58.0 | They have a lot of other things. |
