which I know for some people can seem a little boring or a little mundane

relative to the urban or the edible garden, but we're going to be talking about

how you can potentially eat or drink your landscaping. So for me, as someone who

loves edibles, that's right up my alley.

What do we actually mean by this though, Dr Mark, when we say eat or drink your landscaping?

Well, basically that. There is a lot of landscaping plants that people don't realize actually have edible or tea type abilities.

So I give talks to a lot of garden clubs.

I used to talk about edible weeds and one of them finally said you know what we don't

worry about weeds they're ugly we get rid of them so I started talking about all the

surprising food and drink actually found in the landscaping common

landscaping plants that they use that they were unaware of.

There you go and so what are some of the ones that you suggested to them or maybe

some that that we could be thinking about?, a very common one are hostas.

You may be familiar with them, I find them all over the place.

Those are actually an Asian vegetable.
