This whole week we've been going through quite a bit about, you know, maybe the

under arching principles or the overarching principles, however you want to think about

it, to landscaping your yard and today we're going to get a little more practical.

There's a term in the real estate world I believe called curb appeal and it's just how

it is your yard and your home look from the street.

And this is not something that I have paid a lot of attention to if I'm being

completely honest. First of all, I'm a renter and second of all I've been much

more focused on edibles and so to me like whatever got the job done was fine but I got to admit I'm

getting a little more into it these days and I'm really excited to have been here to

kind of give me the rundown and give you guys the rundown on some ways that you can boost your curb appeal.

So what's going on Ben?

So from a overall perspective, can you just kind of give a little brief

description of what is curb appeal and then as a from a landscaping perspective what

should we be trying to do to increase that?

Sure, yeah, and I can give you a little backstory here too,

which might be helpful.

So first to your question, what is curb appeal?

The way I define it, it's kind of a nuanced thing, just like saying design, how do you do design, right?

That's kind of hard to articulate.

But curb appeal is basically something you can do to increase that that wow feeling or that that aha for people coming into your landscape so so what can you do to your space to really make your house in your yard pop to people coming to visit.
