The reason, well the reason I suggested this movie is because it was featured on the new

Pope like two weeks ago. Uh-huh. And was featured on the new Pope like two weeks ago.

Uh-huh and I'm fascinated the new Pope and John Malkovich's portrayal of the titular new Pope and he's

described his love of Dennis Hopper as he's one of the most free people on the

plant well formerly on the planet Dennis Hopper's been dead almost 10 years now

what did you think of this 50 year old counterculture hippie biker movie Jim it's right it's you're in the target demographic for this

Ain't right at your heart yeah it's uh I don't know much about the 60s if I'm being honest it was over a decade before I was

born the all of the sort of films and culture of the era had sort of started to leak out of public

consciousness or like reruns on television and stuff by the time I was of viewing age.

So I don't know much about it,

but I really like this movie.

I came away thinking,

yeah, I totally get why,

even not knowing much about the 60s,

why this would be a countercultural revolution.

Oh yeah. In both filmmaking and you know actual culture. Yeah in the country.

There's a couple of these things. There's a couple of these things that seem very modern and it turns out

this because they were their innovations which we could talk about like the the pop culture

soundtrack like that's very you know feels very modern that you've got these period
