Criterion is no longer just a support studio.

They're now the main studio behind the Need for Speed franchise.

When they announced crossplay for Need for Speed Heat, Matt Webster, general manager of Criterion Games, said,

quote, first I wanted to let you know how excited our team here is, team is here in Guilford to be back in the driver

seat of development of need for speed.

As you know, we have a real history with racing and with need for speed.

We're focused on bringing criterion's unique point of view

unparalleled game feel and high quality innovations that will chart a new future

for this wonderful series of games.

And Universal Studio Orlando's version of Super Nintendo World has been delayed indefinitely.

It was going to come in a couple years, but now they don't know.
