hello and my mother hi we are doing an episode by my dad and mother. Hi.

We are doing an episode from their house.

That's why it sounds weird, it's why it looks weird.

We have every lamp in the house in this room.

We're trying, we're trying to make it look okay.

But this is a special episode in that I'm just going to be talking to these two for the next hour or so

about their perspective on video games through the lens of my lifetime.

So, I was, I think, five or six when I started playing video games. It was an

NES and Nintendo Entertainment System. Do you remember getting that thing?

I'm going to say no. You don't remember the box you don't remember getting that thing? You know I'm going to just say one more thing because I think you

actually started before before five or six no what before that box why

because of Socrates yeah it was an inch it was an educational toy.

Remember?

That I remember.

But I think that was kind of like an introduction to a controller.

And so did you feel more comfortable with that because it was educational?
