Special Friday night edition of the pod number one. I figure there's gonna be a lot of people at home this weekend

Maybe more than usual and also we didn't get a chance to really do a full episode on Wednesday

With the news that the NBA season had been suspended

So we're gonna try and get back to our normal tone here

We've done a few episodes now talking about COVID-19. We really I thought it was very therapeutic

Frankly to do our episode yesterday. We just talked about what we loved about basketball and also at the end yesterday

I talked about what I think we can all try to be doing in our communities

within our own social networks to encourage social distancing it basically

I'm hoping that we all resolve to reach out to 10 people a day and try to explain to them

Why this is so serious why social distancing is required and that it is gonna take some short-term pain particularly economic pain

But hopefully that will lead to this all being over more quickly and the economy getting back to normal faster because I do think at this point

Whether it's through positive tests or individuals being symptomatic at businesses and gathering places whether it's

Someone close to the people who go to these places whether it's just a general

Lack of customers whether it's an actual government mandate that comes down

My prediction is that within the next week or two most businesses are going to need to close anyway except the ones that are providing

Absolutely essential services to keep people alive and so it's better to just do it now

And if you know someone in your life particularly someone who has a lot of influence over whether people get this disease like a business owner

I encourage you to have a Frank talk about these issues my wife is actually doing that with the yoga studios that she works at

She had a great Instagram post today trying to encourage people in her communities to social distance and

To close down frankly because yoga studios are one of the more

risky places for

Transmitting this virus within their community
