What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Filmroom podcast, to by Indeed and BetOnline.ag. I'm Pete, joined as always by Darius and Mike. And today we're going to be discussing the Eastern Conference. Last Wednesday, we went around the West and went through every team. Today we're going to focus a little more on the contenders, because as we do these general NBA shows, we're going to do it through a Lakers lens.

And these are going to be teams that we think have a shot at possibly meeting the Lakers in the finals.

Ideally, Lakers make it back there, and we want to discuss teams that have a shot of facing us.

But before that starts, we've gotten a bit of news over the last week about a potential start time that's going to be a lot sooner than a normal offseason.

Kind of set up the landscape of that because I think that plays into this conversation quite a bit.
