All right, continuing on our reassessment of what we thought were amazing opinions back in the summer of 2023,

going through off-season grades. We just went through that process for 2024, and so then logically, you're logically you go back and look at

2023 so we got right so we got wrong and just a quick reminder a C is

average and this is an organizational grade can include front office and coaching changes, not ownership changes necessarily, because that's not an actual decision that you're making as a franchise, but everything else is.

And so this is also looking forward depending on the team's time horizon

if what they were trying to do and we agreed that what they should be trying to do

is get better in the short term. Did they accomplish that? If what we thought they should be trying to do

was get better in the long term,

did they accomplish that?

Or did they have perhaps the wrong time horizon in mind

might apply to a team or two here.

Let's actually start at the bottom of the alphabet, Danny.

Sure, we can do that, and so that means we begin with the Washington Wizards,

and the Wizards had an eventful 20-23 off season because we

said that executive changes count and their most important thing I would say was it

executive change were they fired Tommy Shepard and replaced him with Michael Winger who had been in the

OKC front office he brought other Thunder folks including Dawkins with him and the addition of

Winger at the top of the organization that seems like it was at least partially

the impetus for what was a broader set of changes for the Washington Wizards.
