My Lord and my God, I firmly believe that you are here,

that you see me, that you hear me.

I adore you with profound reverence.

I beg your pardon for my sins and the grace to make this time of prayer fruitful.

My Immaculate Mother, St. Joseph, my Father and Lord,

my guardian angel intercede for me. Now on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene came early

to the tomb, while it was still dark, and she saw the

stone taken away from the tomb.

She ran therefore and came to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved

and said to them, They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid them.

Mary Magdalene goes to the tomb in order to be close to her loved one.

She is not expecting anything in return from Jesus.

She just wants to be close.

She is in fact, as we know from another gospel,

with other women bringing spices to finish the burial rituals that they were unable to perform

due to the Sabbath rest that was mandated by the law of the Jews.

She now goes at the very first time by the law of the Jews.

She now goes at the very first hour that she came early in the morning while it's still dark

in order to simply be there, pay her last respects.

She is a woman of faith, a woman who is loyal.

She is not expecting a miracle.
