Welcome to our rosary meditation.

He is risen, to which you should respond.

He has risen indeed.

This is the way we should greet one another for the 50 days of Easter.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

Because my life does not look different today than it did yesterday,

it's hard for me to appreciate Easter and the resurrection.

So let's step back one day to Holy Saturday and get the right perspective for today.

Death is the loss of all that is good.

All we are left with is oneself, locked in total isolation and loneliness forever.

Death is unending loneliness

and the fear that follows which never ends.

This is where we find the followers of Jesus on Holy Saturday.
