Welcome to our daily rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

Happy Easter! On the evening of Good Friday, Joseph of Arimuthia asked the governor, Ponsch's pilot, for permission

to take Jesus down from the cross and bury him properly.

Pilate granted the request, so Joseph took the body of Jesus, cleansed it, but anointed

it hastily, for it was time for the Sabbath.

Rapped it in a clean shroud and put it in his own new tomb,
