But I am so glad that you are joining us today wherever you're at.

I think Easter is one of the greatest...

Come on, it is the greatest Sunday of the year. It's the Super Bowl for the Church of Jesus Christ.

It's the day that we remember that Jesus not only died, not only was he buried, but come on, he resurrected.

He's alive.

Today I believe the Lord has given me a word. I want you to quickly turn in your Bible to Mark chapter 15.

If you're part of the Vood community, you know that we are in our fourth month now studying this gospel, the gospel of Mark.

We started back in January and we will finish it when we get into the month of June.

But Mark chapter 15 is where I want to turn your attention.

And I want to read the account of Jesus' crucifixion from the perspective, or I should say, from the gospel of Mark.

Mark chapter 15 verse 33.

It says, at the sixth hour, darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour.

And at the ninth hour, Jesus cried out in a loud voice, Eloa, Eloa, Lama, Sabaknya.

Which means, my God, my God, why have you forsaken me?

Now when some of those standing near heard this, they said, listen, he's calling Elijah.

One man ran, filled a sponge with wine vinegar, put it on a stick and offered it to Jesus to drink.

Now leave him alone. Let's see if Elijah comes to take him down, he said.

With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last.

The curtain of the temple was torn into from top to bottom.
