Welcome on to our annual tradition here where we look at the over-unders for the east and the west doing the east today and try to pick it over and under.

I think over the course of this I'm 7 and 2 in the nine years of doing this for being

over 500 but I've been under 500 two of the last three years and so I think part of the problem has been that we've been

doing them later lately so I actually want to start earlier. Sadly we won't be

able to do the LA clippers before the inevitable Kauai injury news came out.

We'd love to have just assumed that was going to happen rather than having it confirmed for the public.

But in any event, anything else we got to talk about here or should we just get started if you just get started right?

I think we'll just get started I've I pulled a few stats this year some stuff I used to do off the cup but I had it a little

a little bit prepped and I'll if there's something pertinent

I'll throw it up. All right let's start with the Hawks. Let's do it. The Atlanta Hawks last year went

36 and 45 they traded to Jean-Té Marie to the New Orleans Pelicans for Dyson Daniels and others, but have largely kept the rest of the team together.

And so the over-under line for them were using the lines from Caesars.

I pulled the I pulled them today. There was no change after the

Mitchell Robinson stuff which I also found interesting. So they were 36 and 45

last year over under 36.5. Yeah I talked to Brad Roland about them a few weeks ago and he said they're over under was in the low 30s.

Now this is much more reasonable to me. I like the Hawks probably the best of that group that's fighting for the 10th seed, you know, better than the Hornets, better than Chicago, better than Toronto, I would say they probably have the most established player of any of those guys in Tra Young and Brett and I talk pretty extensively about the office there's a few reason to believe that it might be worse than it's been in the past with

Trai, but I still think when he's on the floor these guys are a top half of the league offense.

How do you feel about the Atlanta Hawks defensively?

Always going to be a little bit queasy when Trey Young is on the team.

We've seen opponents aggressively attack him.

But they do have capable, you know, like we usually refer to centers as like being important for floor and ceiling defensively and the combination if they have them the whole year of Capella and a kang-Wu I think that can do a decent enough job.

Jaylin Johnson, I like him as a defender.
