Summary

It’s fratricide, it’s brother killing brother, it’s a sensational story—the story of Cain and Abel. People call this the first case study of murder, but I think that’s missing the point. It’s actually the first case study of life east of Eden. In Genesis 4, we see three realities are always present in every day, every part of life east of Eden. It shows that in every aspect of life you always have three things operating: sin, grace, and the possibility of salvation. Let’s look at what this teaches us about 1) the secrecy of sin, 2) the gentleness of grace, and 3) the subtlety of salvation. 1:06.3	that in a minute, his face was downcast. Then the Lord said that Kane, why are you angry? Why is
1:11.7	your face downcast? If you do what is right will you not be accepted?
1:14.2	But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door.
1:17.6	It desires to have you, but you must master it.
1:21.4	Now, Canyon said to his brother Abel, let's go out into the field. And while they
1:25.4	were in the field, Kane attacked his brother able and killed him. And then the Lord
1:30.3	said to Kane, where is your brother able? I don't know he replied am I my
1:35.5	brother's keeper the Lord said what have you done? Listen your brother's blood
1:41.0	cries out to me from the ground.
1:42.5	Now you are under a curse and driven from the ground,
1:44.5	which opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood
