This is the baseball tonight podcast for Tuesday, December 6, 2022, and today will be better

than yesterday, producing from the pulpit, the reverent Taylor Schwenk, and I'm Buster

only working for my home in Montana.

The tale I got to say, I feel pretty good about our conversations we had on the podcast

yesterday because we talked about Justin Burland or the Metz, and right after we got

done taping the podcast, that happened two years, $86.6 million, and Dave Schwenk

filled an hour in total agreement that trade turner would go to the Phillies, and that happened

11 years and $300 million.

You know, Buster, the one thing that I don't like about working in podcasting is that lack

of a immediacy.

So we're done, this news breaks, I'm about to put the show out.

I start scrubbing through to, I couldn't quite remember what you guys said about the Phillies

in the Metz, and I was like, oh, they nailed it.

Okay, this is fine.

And because we are a hard working podcast, we're back at it today to actually discuss it.

Yep, that's 100% right.

And I would tell you this, the trade turner signing, landing with the Phillies for $300

million, might not be the most interesting thing that happened in the trade turner bidding.
