The New Beverly Cinema presents the Pure Cinema podcast.

It is the year 2020, a year I never thought we would reach as a society.

So it felt like the right time to do a science fiction episode, which we haven't really done.

One of our very first episodes was about aliens.

Yeah.

And that was, you know, two or three years ago.

It's almost three years now.

And I started talking, we started discussing earthbound, you know, largely earthbound science

fiction kind of because that's where you're actually a little more focused on what is

the science part of it before we're just taking off and flying through space.

So when this topic came up, I didn't know if we were going to go down the route of a guest

or not initially, and then I got very excited when I read a UK article interviewing our guest,

who is somebody who hits all our buckets for the kind of films we talk about and like Dei in a sense, and that is Richard Kelly.

My gosh.
