Hey everybody Rob Maower here and today we're going to be talking about Tesla's Q4 earnings report.

I did two live streams today so the first one that I'm going to play here is from the shareholder letter and the financials and then the second one is my thoughts after Tesla's earnings call.

For the first piece certainly I do think that is better viewed on YouTube because we are, again,

going through some numbers.

And then the second piece, which I will do a little short pause in between,

that'll be just after the 22 minute time stamp and then I'll go

into my takeaways after the earnings call so thanks for bearing with me on these

live episodes and we'll be back to the normal cadence tomorrow.

All right everybody Rob mower here and I just got done going through Tesla's

Q4 shareholder letter and earnings report.

So we're going to go through the takeaways here and the first thing first to go through is we have now finally

seen in the updated model S and model X so I want to go through that first and then

we're going to take a course a look at the numbers how they came in versus my

forecast and versus analyst consensus.

So I'm just going down right now in the earnings report and we see here that Tesla has

shown us photos of the new model S from the interior and then we also see in the back more of a sort of an executive seat

lineup although it does look like this does fold up similar to before and then we

also have that screen now in the back so really cool to see this update. It looks like the design studio has now also been updated as well.

So I'm going to flip over to that here. So I've got the Model X open right now and then we'll take a look quick at the model S as well

So the model X now starting at $90,000 I think that's a slight increase in price and we do now see a

Plaid available which has now replaced the performance version of both the

model X and the model S and we'll see there's also a little bit of a difference

...
