Welcome to show, guys. We got an exciting one here for you. We are talking about waiver wire week one early prep. We're talking early waiver wire. We're talking tune up. You guys have done your draft.

We are getting you guys prepared now for week one. We're going to talk about some injuries. We're going to talk about some possible swaps you want to do. I don't know a lot of people asking.

Should I grab Sean Tucker now? Since you know, he's been slayed as the RB two on the box. What do I do? We're going to get you guys tuned up some early waiver wire discussion. And on the show, we got the great and powerful Jimmy.

Welcome to show Jim. How you doing, counselor? I got away from that. I appreciate if you did. I don't like the equating me to the wizard. I'm not the wizard.

Jim, most people have done their drafts now. It's time to buckle up. They're looking at their rosters to get a little bored. There's this like feeling of, okay, what do I do now? You know, there's this news here this. I want to tell everybody to relax. Okay. Believe. First of all, believe in the team that you drafted because you drafted them for the reason. You got the 16 round plus tool. The solution. Your team looks good. Don't jump the gun. This is what happens. Right. Jim after week one. You know, a guy has a, you know, we saw this little Sammy walk as we used him as an example. Years ago, he had this one breakout game.

There's a one week wonder week. Everyone jumped on the waiver wire dropped a potential stud and they were in a disaster mode. So Jim, any advice to people in this situation, kind of like this, like idling stage before the season starts. Yeah, you know, I mean, again, believe in your team. The only players I would really consider dropping right now would be guys that are are injured guys that are, you know, not expected to play this week. You know, it depends on when your draft was done.

But like, for instance, I had a couple drafts I did back in June. And one of those teams, I've got, I've got Dwayne McBride who was cut, right. He's not on the team anymore. So I'm looking to pick someone up to take his spot. Right. But, but for, for these, all these rookies that I picked up and stuff, man, I'm holding on to him right now, because what's going to happen here, guys, especially with these young players, with these, with these rookies, is they're going to develop during the course of the season.

And so week one, I'm not really interested in starting a lot of rookies outside of Bijon and Gibbs, right, maybe flowers, because I love the match up to flowers has got this week. But, like I said, we got to let these young players develop get established on their teams and start to increase and ramp up their usage. So, you know, that's why I got them on my bench. I'm not, I'm not planning to play them this week. And I'm not expecting to play them in the next few weeks. But as we start to move more

into the season, that's when they're going to start becoming valuable. So it's an open discussion here. He's on the waiver wire. He's there. Maybe you drafted a wide receiver right now. You're not happy with it. You're thinking of swathing.

Let's talk about some players at each position. Maybe that are worth picking up right now, you know, kind of in free agency before week one. Who do you? Who's jumping out at you? Maybe start. Let's start with the quarterback position. Maybe. Oh, quarterback. Oh, geez. You don't have a whole lot of quarterbacks right now. Why did you go with yours? Yeah, because there really isn't a lot of quarterbacks. Because with quarterbacks. Like I was saying, you kind of got to believe in your guy. If you got 16 rounds, you guys ace quarterback, whether it be Herbert Lawrence or someone like that. And you already got

your backup. So you're good. So don't be itching to go to the waiver wire. But I will tell you after week one, I would not be surprised. I just want to have an open discussion with this. The CJ Strout doesn't have a big game or someone like that or someone that was picked up. Maybe Tana Hill. Who's been on the rate under the radar, right? Because a lot of people believe in will leave us taking that job. Maybe Tana has a big, big catch pass catch with Hopkins, right? A throw and catch big plate. And then people are like, Oh, I want a Tana Hill, right? So just relax here.

As of right now, for quarterback, there really isn't anybody that's like, I got to swap out my quarterback, right? You know, I mean, maybe Bernie has a big game too, right? He's available or someone like that.

Perdi is the guy that could be on the waiver wire. And if you're, if you've got like, I don't know, Derek Carr, Matthew Stafford, someone like that on your bench, I'd be inclined to swap them out. Because Perdi was really good in his games. And he's got great, great, very productive weapons around him.

So, you know, that that would be one that I would consider. But for the most part, I mean, like CJ Stroud, man, he's playing Baltimore this week.

I don't think he's going to do very well at all. I mean, a rookie, rookie on his first game in the NFL. Yeah, I got to say that's the kind that you want.

That's the defense you want to start. You want the defense is going to play a rookie quarterback on his first game in the NFL.

They're going to have a great time that day. So, you know, that's one of those things.

Expect some, but yes, the interceptions for sure, especially these young guys, maybe, you know, even an Anthony Richardson.

But, well, yeah, let's have some running backs here, Jim. I know you got a list there. You know, we got to do on Jackson, potentially.

People are going crazy because listen, when Taylor comes back, if he ever does at week five, all these guys, they're an Isaac Moss, who's dealing with injuries, it's going to be a disaster.

So obviously the colds back field is something you want to address. But if you went with the 16 round plus and the draft strategies that we implemented,

you're not going to be starting Deon Jack. You're just not going to be doing it. You're going to be starting the guys you drafted, right Jim?
