welcome to the show. Thanks for joining me today. Thanks, Jeff. I was looking forward to it ever

since the tout draft. We like to get to talk about the teams, but I'm always happy to talk about

baseball, especially now that we've got a week of games under our belt yeah exactly and you know

it's all of our assumptions are now getting challenged and all that there bailey over just got

rocked again i'm still waiting i'm still waiting for that last homer to land uh that was a killer for me

in a l tout i have them in a lot of places actually so uh we'll see about that but we'll get into tout

a little bit later.

We got to start out with some negative news. Yuri Perez out for the season needing Tommy John surgery. Yeah. I mean, nobody likes to like do the, oh, this is what I thought. But,

you know, I think there was always that weird silence around the injury the first time it happened.

There was a shoulder injury that we didn't hear anything for a week.

And then they were like, or was an elbow injury and we didn't hear anything for a week.

And then they said, oh, he'll be back in June or whatever.

And then we heard nothing really about the progress.

And it just seemed like something that was trending in the wrong

direction and it's unfortunate that you know we're going to miss a year of pitching from a really

good young pitcher and that's kind of you know one of the downsides in addition to fantasy
