What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius.

And today it's been a little bit since we've hopped around the league. So we're going to do

a little bit of that and just talk about some of the things that have caught our I and D.

I know you wanted to start with Team Out East, the 13 and 2 Detroit Pistons. They're one of those teams, D, growing up when we did, that the world seems more right when the Pistons are good. They're really right near the top of when you ask me, what does Eastern Conference basketball look like? There's a good chance it's wearing a Pistons jersey in my mind.

And so I just, I have a fondness for them as an OG team that's kind of been there throughout

our whole lives.

They're playing very good basketball in an Eastern Conference that's wide open.

What's caught your eye about them?

At the top, Pete, it's the combination of Cade and Jalen

Duren. Duren's made quite the leap, but I want to stick with Cade for a second. In all of my

trade machine, crazy ideas, there was a thing I was sending you probably like 18 months ago. Hey, is there any way that we have

anything to trade for Cade Cunningham? I really love Cade Cunningham. And you and Mike at the time

did your best to basically be like, look, bro, we're not getting Cade Cunningham.

For all your pipe dreams of like, I get they stink right now and they haven't doing well.
