All right, so you sent something along this morning in the email chain as we were talking about, you know, what we were going to discuss this afternoon. And I'm glad you sent this because it can also piggyback off something I talked with Joe Murray about yesterday. And it's some of these way too early rankings in the NFL are coming out. Look, it's a slow week. This tends to happen. The Super Bowl just wrapped up. But the NFL is still king, right? So, you know, people are horny for NFL content at all times. And so the first thing that came to mind or that popped up on my radar, rather, was this article on the 33rd team.com from Matt Castle, former Pat's quarterback, who of course does a lot of stuff with NBC Sports, Boston. And he ranks his way too early 2023 quarterback rankings,

all stats that he provides from this past season. And I think you've got a chance to look at this,

Tim. But of course, the names you would expect to be in that top five, different permutations of how I would have them.

But number one, would you agree, Patrick Mahomes?

It's Mahomes is number one in the league right now.

Yeah, no doubt.

You know, especially after the way he performed in the Super Bowl,

rightfully named the game's MVP.

He had Jalen Hertz at two.

I find that a little too high. I would go borrow. Then Josh Allen, he had them three, four, Herbert five. But the point is here, I mean, you got to really, you got to give your fingers a workout to scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, the page. Where is Mac Jones? You got to keep going. You've got to go past Brock Purdy. You got to go past Kylerler Murray, who has turned into a pumpkin, which is a shame because I loved watching him when he first came into the league. He stinks now. Matthew Stafford, who barely played, might have like a bad back and never play again. Ryan Tannahill, who blows Jimmy Garoppolo, at 21. Where's Mack Jones? Andy Dalton, I see it 22, Tim. Andy Dalton, who I think is what Mack Jones is probably going to end up being.

Russell Will. Where's Mac Jones? Andy Dalton, I see it 22, Tim. Andy Dalton, who I think is what Mac Jones is probably going to end up being. Russell Wilson at 23. Why haven't I seen Mac Jones? Deshawn Watson. Deshawn Watson, the massage king. Mac Jones is after Deshawn Watson. In fact, he's sandwiched between two Browns quarterbacks. Deshaun Watson and Jacoby Brissette, 25th for Mac Jones. And he writes, does Matt Castle, there were a lot of ups and downs for Mac Jones this past season. I'm still unsure of what type of quarterback he can be. It's a key line there. But we'll certainly find out with new offensive coordinator, Bill O'Brien, returning to the Patriots this season. Unfair that he's that low? No, no, it's not. And like, to your point, by the way, if this was one of those like slide show articles, you would have stopped about 10 minutes before you actually got to Mac Jones. And bothered by stupid ads. No, no, it would have been, it would have been over. And look, it's depressing because I feel like we always talk about like, oh, you know what, he could be like a top 15ish quarterback And you never really kind of lay out the quarterbacks in the NFL. And when you go through this list, like you might disagree with some of the order. Like you said, I'm kind of, I'm higher on Burrell than I am obviously like Jalen Hertz or someone like that. But there's not a lot of argument in terms of the quarterbacks that are actually ahead of Mack Jones coming off of the season that he had. And the really depressing thing is, by the way, he's right next to the quarterback that you just kind of threw away and gave up for Philip Dorset and Jacoby Bressett. And now you're stuck with a quarterback that's right there. It's a crazy ranking. It's depressing to see Mac Jones at 25. But it's also pretty accurate. Like that's where he is right now in the landscape of the NFL.
