Let's talk about Brendan Sorsby, who obviously, if that's not a country club name, I don't know what is. I love the Brendan Sorsby name. For those of you not following this story, just a little background for you. So the college career for Brennan Sorsby started Indiana, 2002 to 23.

He was a redshirted freshman there in 2022, got some playing time, then moved to Cincinnati

in 2025.

Second team, all big, 12 honors, threw for 2,800 yards, 27 touchdowns, five picks.

Then there was, well, a bit of a gambling scandal.

And the gambling scandal here in 2026, it broke that they were investigating him for,

not just a little sports betting, but a lot.

He was placed on thousands of online bets totaling $90,000 over a four-year span. Now, here's the thing. 40 of the wages were on Indiana football games. That's problematic. Now, the kid has said he's got a problem. He's trying to get fixed, all that stuff. He was one of the most sought after quarterback prospects going into the transfer portal this year. And that was a was a big problem too because it was going to be Texas Tech.

And then the problem was a lot of other teams was like, we're not going to put you on the schedule because we think this whole thing is a big load of nonsense. So it's a lot to digest, a lot to take in. And I know for a lot of people that don't really follow college football or, you know, just kind of live in their best life this summer, maybe this story is something that's kind of passing through

but not really coming around.
