It was awesome.

I mean, it felt like two different seasons, honestly.

Professionally, I thought it was a great experience, honestly, on the beat.

A little chaotic at times, but it was a fun ride to Chronicle and, I guess, be a part of in some really small way.

But, oh, man, that Sugar Bowl win against Georgia.

I didn't pick Georgia to win the game.

I thought it could be close.

Just didn't think Ole Miss had enough, especially defensively because they didn't stop Georgia the previous matchup.

And then to come within just one defensive stop short of appearing in the national championship game.

I mean, it was almost out of a Hollywood movie script, maybe if they won it all, but not quite.

It felt like towards the end of the year, obviously, with Lane Kiven leaving,

Golding's job was kind of to land the plane. And certainly, like, I think he did that,

you know, exceeding all expectations. But now he kind of gets to, you know,

choose his own path. What are things that he's doing differently than Lane Kiven did?
